Day 18 Humor

Want to stop joy in its tracks? Then take yourself very seriously. Nothing worse than a life lacking in good laughter. I’m always amazed by how adults forget how fun it is to be silly. But how can I laugh when my son has a disabling condition that could cut his life short? My answer is . . . I can’t afford not to. I have moments when it’s difficult to escape that sad reality. But I choose to take any and every opportunity to laugh and be silly! My son deserves a mom who loves and laughs. Don’t your kids deserve that too? What opportunities do you take to be silly? What new ways can you find to let go and laugh?
