Day 29 Stronger

About a year ago, we bought some bikes and we took them out for a 5 mile spin. I nearly died from exhaustion! The up-hills seemed never-ending. Today, on my 45th Birthday, to my surprise—I CRUSHED them!!! Lol! My point—it’s hard to see the progress you’re making in the painful, arduous moments. Your efforts seem to barely propel you an inch toward your goals. Only in looking back can you realize just how much far you’ve come. 5 years ago, I thought I would never be happy if Caiden didn’t progress toward milestones. Today, after much growth and Grace, I deeply rejoice simply because my son lives and is well. Not many “developmental milestones” have been reached, but I am better. I am stronger. Can you look back and see where you have made progress? Perhaps the most growth was made during the toughest of times. How can that fact change your mindset in difficult times to come?
